The “Forest for Happiness” Project, Year 3

16 June 2026

The Company actively promotes engagement to mitigate biodiversity loss through the 'Forest of Happiness' project, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders across all development areas. By selecting plant species in accordance with the guidelines of the Royal Forest Department and relevant government agencies, we aim to preserve and enhance the richness of flora and fauna within the local ecosystems. The strategic planting of diverse perennial trees, shrubs, and native flora creates a complex forest structure that serves as a vital food source, habitat, and breeding ground for animals, insects, birds, and microorganisms. This initiative not only restores fresh air for surrounding communities but also fulfills the Company’s core mission to balance urban development with natural resource conservation. Over the past three years, this commitment has driven positive ecological change, resulting in the planting of over 6,650 trees across 55 rai in Pathum Thani and Prachuap Khiri Khan provinces.

Benefits for the restoration of local ecosystems Benefits to the community
Community forests play a pivotal role in balancing soil, water, and air quality while effectively reducing soil erosion and enhancing fertility. This restoration of natural resources enables diverse species to return and thrive sustainably. Furthermore, these community forests establish essential 'Habitat Connectivity', serving as vital corridors that link fragmented green spaces and natural forests. By facilitating the movement and genetic exchange of wildlife, these corridors significantly mitigate the long-term risk of species extinction and strengthen the overall resilience of the ecosystem. Community involvement in the proper care and use of forest resources, such as food plants, medicinal herbs, or wild mushrooms, helps reduce deforestation and maintain species biodiversity.
